FAQ

When is registration?

Regular registration period: Through June 30th
Late registration period: July 1st to close

How do I register a player?

You will need to login to access the on-line registration form. If you do not have an account, you will need to create an account before you can register.

New users:
  1. Check the age chart to identify the U-level where the player will be participating
  2. Click Register Now
  3. Click the Rec Soccer League 2024 Player Registration link
  4. Select the NO, I do not have a member account option
  5. Fill in the required account information and/or add additional account holders click Submit
  6. Click NO that YOU are also the participant
  7. Fill in the player information and click continue
  8. Click YES or NO if the player has the same address as the primary account holder
  9. Select the U-level for the player you are registering and click Continue **if requesting for a player to play up an age level, you must register for the true age level first, and the registrar can move the player manually. Submit requests under player information "comments/request".
  10. Fill in the participant emergency information, and health information **if answering NO to the question a NA must be typed
  11. Fill in the participant medical insurance information 
  12. Read, accept, and electronically sign the Concussion Pamphlet 
  13. Read, accept, and electronically sign the Positive Coaching Alliance Pledge 
  14. Read, accept, and electronically sign the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness 
  15. Read, accept, and electronically sign the WA Youth - Barriers to Abuse 
  16. Read, accept, and electronically sign Consent for Medical Treatment
  17. Read, accept, and electronically sign WYS-Player Photo/Video Release, and click continue
  18. If you wish to volunteer to help with the team, please select the position you wish, click continue
  19. Review the Registration Summary and click continue
  20. Fill in payment information and confirm for checkout

How are teams assigned?

Returning players are typically placed on the same team as the previous year if signed up prior to June 30th. New players requesting a specific coach or teammate are attempted to be met if the registration is complete by June 30th.

Registrations after the June 30th deadline may be placed as needed to fill out rosters.

Can my child play up?

All requests for a child to play up must be in writing to the [email protected] and submitted in the request/comment section of the player information. Please DO NOT modify your child's birthdate in the registration process in order to register them in the U-grouping that you want them placed.

When are practices held?

Most teams hold practice twice a week and practices are usually held at Howerton Soccer Complex or Central Kitsap School Fields.

Player Gear ~

Each player will need soccer cleats (no toe cleat), black soccer shorts, shin guards, black soccer socks (that must cover the shin guard) and a water bottle.

When are games?

Game play for U7 and above teams begin in September and finish in November, except for a few leagues that may extend into December. All U7 and above games are played on Saturdays with a possibility of an occasional Sunday game. Most games are played on the Kitsap Peninsula.

Jerseys ~

Jerseys are provided by Central Kitsap Soccer Club and no longer require a deposit as it is part of the registration fee.
